Here is a 18 min video where Malia, Mike, and Mark travel through Vietnam, and Cambodia. You can also see me shoot an AK-47, Boo Yeah!
Welcome to Saigon!
A video clip from my buddy Michael who I met in Vietnam. Traveling is good for the soul. I don’t remember last time I was this happy. Enjoy!
The city that never sleeps, back to Bangkok Dangerous!
I’m back to the charming city of Bangkok, Thailand.
Views from my hotel room, 15th floor.

I met up with Javier whom I met in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. We went to Lebua at State Tower Bangkok & Phulay Bay Ritz Carlton, where they filmed The Hangover 2. Great views overlooking the city of Bangkok. (64 floor)
The Dome.
Awesome views.

The bar.
Javier and I.

We then took a tuk tuk to Pat Pong. (Tuk tuk drivers are insane) Pat Pong area is a night market, a lot of vendors who will try to sell you everything, and part of the red light district.
Holding on to the tuk tuk
Great Success!
Bada what?
Pat Pong closing down.
I took a trip to the Chatuchak Market (The weekend market). This market is huge and crowded. I walked for over 3 hours today and I don’t think I got to see half of the market.

In couple of hours I’m taking off for the snowy, dark, cold, and expensive Oslo, Norway. Time does fly by when you are having one of the best times of your life. I’m not really excited about leaving the unrealistic world I lived in for 6 weeks, and I have to be back to work on Tuesday.
It’s been an amazing life changing trip. Next year will be South America baby!
To my friends in Oslo, I will be on detox for at least 2 weeks, maybe not during the Super Bowl. Patriots vs. Giants, GO PATS!
Happy 1st Birthday Emilia!
To my beautiful and adorable niece Emilia, Happy Birthday! See you soon.
It ends where it started.
I have four more days to go before I have to go back to Oslo, Norway - The Frozen Paradise!
I met some friends whom I met in Hanoi last night and had our last night out. It was a memorable one since there was a female who almost got robbed by a guy and when she started screaming at him, he picked up a big wooden plank and tried to hit all of us. He then jumped on a motorbike and took off.
Off to Bangkok in couple of hours. I hope to see the weekend market, the floating market and maybe Muay Thai.
War, what is it good for?
Took the trip to the War Remnants Museum and I must say this is one of the emotionally saddest part of my trip, especially Agent Orange. In a way, the museum is somewhat one sided, I would like to see the northern version. (Vietnam civil war was between the communist in the north, and the capitalist in the south. China, Mother Russia, and etc supported the north while US and A, France, Thailand, Australia, and the Philippines supported the south)
(I advise that these pictures might not be suitable for some people)
Claustrophobia – The Chu Chi Tunnels.
We took the Chu Chi tunnels tour and it was interesting what the VC did during the war to survive. They day the tunnels are about 200KM long, but I think it’s really 90KM. They lived around and in the tunnels for over 15yrs during the war.
Organized Chaos!
This chaos is after all the fireworks were over during the Chinese New Year. Just insane!
Ho Chi Minh!
Met Malia, Mike, and Mark in Ho Chi Minh and roomed with Mark until they left for Mekong Delta. We did our tour of the city and saw that most of people who live in Ho Chi Minh have left the city because of TET(Chinese New Year)
Beantown Baby!!!!
OK?

During the late afternoon we have been hanging out with the rest of the backpackers during happy hour on the streets of Ho Chi Minh. The bars give you small plastic chairs and tables and buy Saigon beer for 10,000 Dongs(50 cents, 3KR) or you can have draft Boi Tha beer 6000 Dongs.
Met the same people again from Hanoi and keep meeting different people from all over the world, and loving it!

From 3 days to a week!
My plan to stay in Mui Ne was 3 days but I’ve now stayed here for a week. This is a beautiful beach, a place I could see myself living for a couple of months. Having great host like Thuy and John made it even better.
I have met so many people here and had a blast with them. I’m now off on a bus to Ho Chi Minh City formerly known as Saigon. The Chinese New Year is tomorrow, Ho Chi Minh is going to be rocking!
Outta Sight, Outta Mind!
Hanging out with the rest of the backpackers in Mui Ne.
